so if you saw my video today you suck. i basically did a video apologising for not making a video as i always do. but yah. it's all with reason, i've been doing my uni stuffs and for each one i've had to do a prep. i suppose it'd be intelligent to use the same one for each one but noooo, i thought i'd do three separate ones, cause i'm AWESOME.
of course in this case, 'awesome' means 'total twat'.

so my three films coming up are heterocera, who my older subscribers will know about which actually makes no sense and will probably be shite. the next is called i will let go if you let go, which is a comedy about addiction. score! the last one is 小さい混同した盗人 which basically means "The little confused thief". I think it describes itself :D
i have 2 music videos coming up as well, a narrative one for Regina Spektor's Chemo Limo, everyone was doing concept or performance videos. i was like "fuch dis, i wants difference"

i've just had the hugest argument with my grandmother.
it involved me opening up to a person for once in my life, and telling her everything that i felt inside. she then called me a piece of shit and walked out.

charlie made me feel better. it's the most innocent thing, him quoting something very stupid that i said and posting it as a comment. no matter what anyone thinks of him, he's incredibly lovely and one of the nicest people i've met. he calls me when i'm on my way home sat by scary people and keeps me sane when i'm hurriedly trying to pack all of my things out of my dads house before he comes back home. i don't know what i'm going to do without him the three weeks he's away :(

in all honesty, i never in my life imagined myself liking things like this. less than two years ago i was what i considered to be 'hardcore'. i only listened to grindcore and screamo, i wore far too much eyeliner, my wardrobe was full of black and neon and i straightened and back combed my hair every day. for some reason i felt the need to conform to something to feel included.i wouldn't say it's just college that has changed me, but i love how my tastes now span entirely different genres. in the past half an hour i've listened to classical, electro, comedy, indie, japanese pop, grindcore, 8bit, musical and hip hop music. and i love it. though i doubt people at uni will appreciate it :\
when my mum asked me to write out my christmas list, i seriously suprised myself with the things is was choosing. before, i would've asked for a million different albums that all sounded the same, and i'm comfortable admitting that now. i have no idea how my family put up with me when all they could hear from my room was "KJFSHENOIRJGPOERKJTOPEKRF!!!!" i doubt work will like what i like now, considering i work for Telford ROCKS but they'll have to put up with it ^_____^
i like liking prettier things,(shallow as this reason is) i can afford much more now. i can see how awkward i was, only wanting black or dark jeans, and only tshirts that i liked, and only things from certain shops. now i shop, wear and listen to wherever i want, and i'm much happier for it.

someone at college said that i was only changing myself because i'm going to uni next year, and i want to conform to what i think are people's expectations of me. that's total and complete bullshit. i'm not intentionally changing myself, it's just a natural shift in myself. it cannot be helped and shouldn't be ridiculed. i LIKE the look on people's faces when i know that they're listening to carnifex or whitechapel, because they don't expect it of me.

do i really look like a person who would conform to someone elses expectations? i am my own person, and i like who i am. it's taken me a long time to find who i am, so i wish people would appreciate me. and i wish i had those tights.

it's quarter past three and i'm in the lrc, i'm the only one in here so it's safe to write this. there's a lot of work i should be doing for performing arts and media, but frankly i don't want to do it.
it's a hideous feeling knowing i'm failing my courses and probably won't get to uni next year, but its equally hideous knowing that if i do buck up my ideas then next year i'll be leaving my home, my room, my nan, my family, richard, stirchley grange, EVERYTHING.

rich came into the lrc about half an hour ago and now i feel terrible. he was really happy, saying that this has been the best week of his life so far. the choices page for ucas was up and i had to tell him that i'm not taking a gap year anymore, then he pulled this face and said "it's only the start of the year and we're talking about you leaving me next year, we shouldn't be doing this."

the godzilla poster seems happy in my room, it looks much prettier here than in the media classroom; which is understandable, because of the size of the windows made it look tiny.

so i'm making a film.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
i'm actually really scared of how it's all coming together so quickly. there's only one person left to cast, incidentals are easy to get, i'm talking to graeme about getting a camera, and the props are all here. and it's all ready.
i don't know why i'm afraid. it might have something to do with the sheer speed in which this has all come to be, i mean on monday night it was only a story that i wrote randomly. now it's a student short. it's going to be written, directed, filmed, edited by me. i think that's what's so scary. not that i have to do everything, but the fact that because i'm doing everything that means i'm the only one who can be critisised. there's no blame that can put on anyone else. this has to be amazing, and i have to make it that.

i can see it being very stylised: extreme close ups; reverse filming; little or no music; artsy; quick, snappy shots and then long, sweeping camera movements for opposing ideas.
like a cross between donnie darko and requiem for a dream.

i can't really explain what it's about, it's really disjointed, like there's no real plot. just digressions and a narration. it's rather short so i can't tell you exactly what happens without giving the ending away too fast, and making it sound shite. there are 5 characters, (though 1 is just itself and cannot be played) the mind, the body, the eyes, the voice and heterocera.

the idea for the ending is that throughout the entire film, there's background noise, but it's really muffled, like you're underwater, and then at the end it slowly fades in to a roar and then cuts to silence. it probably sounds really pretentious or crap or obvious, but i think it'll come out ok.

grace is going to be the body, i'm going to be the mind, someone irish is going to be the voice, and the eyes have been uncast. heterocera is hard, somehow i need to get a moth on my ceiling!

Okay, so i woke up at 10am, which is stupidly early for me.
Then i fell asleep.
Then woke up, went on the internet, tidied the bathroom and got ready.
James & his mum came at about 12:10pm and then we drooooove to college.
Met grace in reception.
This is where it gets slightly more interesting.
So basically grace was in the reception with a guy we will call A and he had a letter from a girl we'll call.... 7 (i'm not into making sense). Basically, this letter was incredibly awkward and was just telling him that she didn't like him and please leave her alone and whatnot. 7 is a strange girl. So then we had a group hug, because that's how we roll.
Then it came to getting the results from the hall. I forgot what my last name was. Good start. And then i had to get mine from the guy who did the GSCE english revision session Clegg dragged Abbie and myself to. So he obviously thought I was getting results for that. AWKWARD.
Anyway. I only had one result to get, which made it slightly easier.
*drumroll* IGOTABw00t. But I got a lower mark than Grace for the Production Report, and Graeme said I'd gotten an A for that, so we wen to go see him about it. He wasn't there, so we stole his Godzilla poster. Wow, we're Gangstars.
Then Grace and I had to go get food for Youstage, but James & Lewis came too. Grace asked about ArronLOL. There was a bootsale fair thing at the church so we went in there and I bought PS I Love You for me madre and Interview With a Vampire for 80p. Then we looked through oldschool records we had no intention of buying, and the old man, bless him, just kept standing there telling us the prices; so we had to do the "are you buying it or not? no i thought you were buying some? no i thought you were!" routine, and swiftly left.
Then we went to B&M Bargains. I swear this is the cheapest shop in the world. I think the most expensive thing I bought was a £2 bar of chocolate for James' mum. We have insane amounts of soup and noodles now. I think we should've just bought pasta. It would've been a lot lighter, and less messy! But the buy that I'm most proud of is the 10 cans of energy drink for £2. These people sure know how to feed an addiction :D
All in all it came to £12.10. or something like that. And now I only have like £3 to go to the pub with. woops. So then James and I got on the X44 with dayriders we only used once. WASTE OF MONEY, JAMES. And we found the group when they got on at College, which was really really nice, except for the slight tension between James and Cat.
Then my mum called and said she was proud of me and cried when I told her I'd bought her a book because she was at a funeral, and the guy who died has written her letters every year for her birthday until she's 21. And then she talked to James, because she considers him to be her son, since me and James are epicly close.
Best conversation today:
I pulled out some chocolate made by Virginia and gave some to James. This happened whilst he was eating it, apparently oblivious to the outside world. It was that good.
Bear in mind this was on a crowded bus.

So then James and I walked to Malinslee to see his family. First we went to his Nans house where I met his Uncle James and his cousin Aimee (for some reason I see it written that way) who were insanely amazing, the bit where I first met James was hilarious, because we told him we were brother and sister. His face was like this -> O.o
Then we stood outside of Aleyah and Stacy's house because they weren't in. Then I decided we were going to the Spar to get some Relentless, because I wasn't drinking the 24 energy drink before Youstage. Aleyah and Stacey where really really lovely, and I got to hold baby William.
It's funny because he cries whenever he sees James' beard!
Then we got picked up by Sara, James' mum. We went back to his, where Craig and JT were waiting for us and I got destroyed on Brawl, though I beat JT once!! Then Craig and JT left for Alice's party, so James decided to teach me how to Brawl (i still suck). I made James to go on Viva Pinata, because he never goes on it because it reminds him too much of Cat. My thoughts where that it's his game, why should he not go on it? So we're making it our game instead. Which is okay, because he's my brother and I'll never ever like him like that. Which is reassuring to the both of us, because there's always someone there to talk to :3
Anyway, Sara was really lovely, and gave us food because we hadn't eaten all day and then she took me home. We had a really long conversation about the group and James and Cat and A levels and James meeting his dad and everything, and it was really really nice. I love Sara to bits, she's such a lovely woman.
Anyway when I got in the first thing James said to me online was "My mum says you can come with me to meet my dad, she's actually really alright about it. I was expecting her to be annoyed."

you call me just to have a fucking go at me, where's the point in that!?
i'm getting a job, stop fucking going on about it, just because i don't get a call back 0.0000435234 seconds after i've handed in the cv doensn't mean that i haven't handed any in! and they tell me that it's going to be really really hard because of the university students coming back and filling up all of the vacancies but you don't really care about that do you? you just want me to earn money so i can give it to you. like that £500 wasn't enough. and you've spent all of that on your debts and not on christmas like you said you would. yeah, thanks. you don't even care about the fact that i seriously hate mcdonalds, and i'd rather dive into a vat of acid than go work in there. it's not that i just don't want to work there. it's the smell. and the fact stalker boy works there.

but then again it's another thing you don't care about.
and wanting me there all the time, having control over my life. i'm fed up of it! i'm nearly 17, and far more mature than you think i am. i've gone through far more than any normal 17 year old; but then again i doubt you'd care about that either. i can't be with you doing stuff around the house and i can't be with dad doing all of his stuff around the house and i can't spend time with my nan because she's lonely and i can't do work for college because the twats gave me shit to do all over the holidays and i can't go to work ALL AT THE SAME FUCKING TIME.
